I recently received a package from BLKBRD. The build quality is high, the leather is quite soft, and the sole (Dainite-style) is also good. The sizing is accurate (my foot is 29 cm, and size 45 fits me in this model). A nice surprise was the extra insoles and a shoehorn.
I ordered these shoes with my exact measurements and received them in about three to four weeks. They fit like a glove – truly the best-fitting pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. The quality and craftsmanship are top-notch, especially for the price. I liked them so much that I ordered the brown version as well. I use them as work shoes since I’m often moving between the office and outdoor areas with sand and gravel. The thick rubber soles are perfect – they feel sturdy and secure, almost like wearing boots, but in a good way. Overall, these are incredible value. I wanted dressy casual shoe to wear with jeans and slacks. I decided to go with a cap-Toe derby. This is the second pair of BLKBRD shoes that I’ve purchased in the last few months. They both are hand welted and are probably the most comfortable shoes that I’ve ever purchased. I picked Kudu in the color Loden. I also went with a rubber sole for greater durability in casual settings. They look great. I could not be happier. Great quality shoes at a fair price.
