Hence crafting or selecting the perfect Last for any shoe shape or idea becomes one of the most important aspects in designing and making any great looking shoe. Since Last is what imparts a shoe its shape, for any new shoe design it becomes first to select a last. Hence in shoemaking it is rightly said that “The Last Comes First”.
