I bought these brown Chelsea boots with the Dainite style sole. The value is unbeatable and the craftsmanship is excellent.
I live in Australia and wanted something different to the other Australian "iconic brand" Chelsea boot that everyone else wears in the office, and I was not disappointed. These boots are loaded with value. They are made with good leather, is whole cut and looks very stylish. They can definitely hold their own against the other Australian "iconic brand" Chelsea boot that costs two to three times more than these.
The option to choose different soles is also great so they can customised to local conditions and needs. The last has enough toe room and the fit is snug and comfortable. The delivery was three weeks from order, just as they advised.
These Chelsea boots are versatile for all occasions and can be worn with office trousers, chinos and jeans. I have two other oxfords from Blkbird. I have found their shoes to be very well made and incredible value for the everyday regular user. I'm sure the online connoisseurs and influencer experts might find things to criticise. However, if you just need great shoes that are not glued together as the ones sold in most department stores and not overpriced with ridiculous markups, give this company a go.
I buy from them as I've found them to be reasonably priced, well crafted and I am happy to support the skilled Indian shoemakers who handstitch these products.
I'm sure I will be looking for another reason to justify another purchase in the future.
