Today I received an invitation from BLKBRD to leave a review. Let me start by saying I would give 0 stars if I could, but unfortunately, that’s not possible.

I can’t rate the boots themselves because I never received them. What I *can* rate, however, is the service—and it is the worst service I have ever experienced when it comes to buying boots.

It all started before the purchase with a question from me, which was answered quickly. After that, I received daily emails asking if I had any further questions or needed support with the order; it was a bit pushy, but okay—that’s just how sales work.

I placed and paid for the order via the BLKBRD web shop, and a confirmation arrived immediately.

Then, all communication stopped completely. A few weeks later, I received a shipping notification. I could see via UPS tracking that the boots were on their way. Once they arrived in Germany, the trouble began: documents were missing—documents I had actually already provided to UPS.

Now, the boots have been sitting in a UPS warehouse for two weeks. I get a daily update stating "in warehouse."

I have reached out countless times to every BLKBRD email address available to me, asking for assistance. Unfortunately, I have never received any feedback or support regarding any of my emails—absolutely zero reaction. Then again, why would they? They already have my money.

In short, I would never order even a pair of shoelaces from this shop again, and I warn anyone interested in these boots against doing so. If things go smoothly, fine—but if problems arise, BLKBRD simply doesn't care.

It’s not about things going wrong; it’s about what is done to solve the problem, and in this regard, BLKBRD has failed completely.

The quality, fit and comfort are just superb. I went through the measuring process and ordered a half size down. Perfect fit. I would like to again add that these boots are extremely comfortable, much more so than the competitors we all know. Great job. I will be ordering a second pair.

I have had couple boots in ROYCE last. And they were my favorite.
I liked this when launched, got delivered in 3 weeks. And it’s killer combination with Maryam leather and Dr Sole. Last is perfect for me. Big fan of your craftsmanship. No other boot can beat this in this price range.
