Adele is one of our favorite Cap-toe Adelaide designs with a sharp square chisel toe shape with a very flat sole profile. One can never ask for a more classy oxford than the Adelle made in Black fine grain leather. The shoes themselves are very good quality. However, this was a part of a special order for a wedding and the groomsmen were receiving their first pair of handmade dress shoes. This order consisted of 2 Adelaide and 1 Veyron. However, there was a miscommunication about what was agreed upon. They made the impression no duties would be charged to the customer (we were still charged despite having texts saying the would take care of it) - should have clarified prior that it would be at a reduced rate, we expected all three shoe orders to come with shoe horns (since the groomsmen were first time buyers) - only one came with one, names on the boxes were all adressed to the groom instead of the groosmen when the names were given for their shoes, and also we requested an extra buckle for the Veyron shoes that was missed in shipping. Overall, the products themselves are good, however, I would highly encourage a more thorough communication process to set proper guest expectations and also for internally getting all the details right for custom orders. I admit, this is a slightly more nuanced critique having entrusted this order for a wedding, otherwise, the company and shoes are top notch. All the best to them and the team, look forward to working with them in the future once these wrinkles and proper expectations get sorted out.

The shoes have lasted well; creases have been soft(bear in mind i haven’t yet used shoe trees, though i plan to). The break in took a bit of time and the shoes came in fairly stiff(as any handwelted shoes should). Bear in mind, this pair is on the heavier side and uses a more robust build. I believe that adds to the character of the shoe rather than deducting elegance. The cap toe and heel counter also seem fairly easy to mirror shine(ie, the upper leather is great). This has been my second pair from blkbrd and I’d have to admit, they do incredible work at their price range. Overall, I’m very impressed.
I have never received a box of shoes so well packed. I was surprised how impressive the level of quality the shoes is. I will definitely purchase a pair of shoes from you again.
The shoes are well crafted with an elegant appearance. Highly recommend.
The process of buying the shoe was fairly simple. You order through the site and then they reach out through whatsapp. You send them your sizing and after confirmation, they send you the pair.
Been using them for on and off for a month and they are by far the most comfortable pair that I have. The break in was quite easy. They retain their shape and don't crease a lot. They are slippery at the start due to the leather sole but after wearing them for 5/10 times, the issue goes away as the sole becomes rougher. I would recommend them. Going to buy more from them.
