If we were to dress James Bond in our shoes, Black Romero would be our first choice. This cap-toe oxford is crafted using a special stitching technique called Stitch & Turn seam, where the raw ends of the shoe components are flipped inwards after stitching. Featuring an all-black color scheme on both, the upper and the sole, Romero is as stealthy, minimal yet bold as a shoe can get. Olc's first pair of BLKBRDs these shoes still look great even a year and a bit after purchase and extremely heavy use (8 to 12 hour bartending shifts so constantly on your feet). I'm a law school student in Canada and purchased these shoes in September 2025 to use during my law firm mixer events and on-campus interviews. I have large feet (UK 13, and Blkbrd was one of the few shoemakers that offered this size. So far I'm very pleased with them. They arrived exactly 22 days after ordering. They feel very sturdy compared to my non-made-to-measure shoes, and are easy to polish up to a shine. I would warn that they can be slippery in the wet and on carpet though due to the leather outsole. Fingers crossed for a good job offer assisted by these shoes!
