The Bulwark boot is a U-Throat lace-up boot with 7 eyelet lace-up style. Storm Welt construction imparts an enhanced water resistance to the inside of these boots. Broad toe profile with a bulge creates a rugged look and makes it perfect to be paired with your boot cut denims.

I was trying to figure out which boot I can wear for hiking and some moderate trails and transition into a country pub and continue to look cool. Bulwark Waxy Commander was the answer. CF Stead Waxy Commander is a legendary leather and you will find multiple reviews online. I got mine done in Rust and it looks great. I need to wear it for some time for it to look gorgeous. I requested a Vibram Commando sole for hiking and in my belief it looks even better than the default Fighter sole. Bulwark is Storm Welted and should be water resistant and I enhanced it by requesting a fully gussetted tongue. It has a problem though. The Harley last is a generous last. But because of the extra thickness of the tongue, it is very tight across the vamp. I am using an instep expander to get some relief. The build quality is top class and it looks a very distinguished heritage boot with elegant stitching and finish. More than the boot itself, my experience with BLKBRD was 5-star. Sandeep was very responsive and accommodated all my requests. The boot itself was shipped in record time. I challenge anyone to get a boot of this leather, sole and quality at this price.
Amazing boots, really comfortable, one downside tho, the eyelets are too bad, makes it impossible to tie tight enough, and scrapes the laces real fast.
