Great-looking shoes with amazing leather and an overall level of craftsmanship that's genuinely impressive. I saw multiple youtube videos before getting the courage to spend on their products, I can say with utmost confidence if you are looking for a really high quality product, look no further.

The natural Chromexcel leather is initially quite firm, and the shoes might feel a little tight when you first wear them. However, as per the maker, they should gradually soften and mould to your feet after around 25-30 wears. So, a little patience is required, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they break in.

Honestly, it's hard to believe that an Indian shoemaker can deliver something of this quality. The attention to detail, leather quality and overall finish are truly commendable. Impressed enough, in fact, that I've already ordered another pair of FENRIR in Kudu Zanzibar. It's a custom order, and it was delivered today, so I'm really excited to try that one out as well!

If there's one area that could be considered a downside, it's the price. From an Indian buyer's perspective, these shoes are certainly very expensive. That said, I understand that their primary market is more Western focused, where this combination of quality and pricing is probably considered quite affordable.

Overall, a fantastic experience so far. It's great to see an Indian shoemaker delivering craftsmanship at this level. Looking forward to breaking these in and trying my new pair!

This is my second pair of BLKBRD boots, and I intend to buy a couple more pairs in the future. One thing I really liked was the turnaround time. I placed the order on 29 July and received the boots in New Zealand within a month. I also really like the Natural CXL colour.

However, I was disappointed with the quality control on this pair. The original insole was supplied separately, while an extra foam insole had been glued into the boots. Unfortunately, the foam insole was also missing a small piece in the heel area. This wasn't the case with the Dixon Captoe boots I received back in June.

When I tried to fit the original insole, it would not stay in place and came loose easily. As a result, I had to visit a local cobbler and spend an additional $20 to have it fitted properly.

Buying these boots was a very good customer service experience. They responded quickly to my questions and sought additional foot measurements regarding my orthotic insoles. It seems they incorporated my measurements into the construction of the boots. The boots were completed and arrived sooner than I was expecting. The materials are top quality and the construction is very clean. The unboxing experience was very nice too with a shoe horn, boot bags and an extra set of laces. They fit very well but will require some breaking in - which is expected. I definitely recommend BLKBRD boots.

This is my first pair of BLKBRD boots. BLKBRD shoemaker was easy to contact and very helpful to me to ensure I ordered the correct size. They answered any questions I had and made sure that I received the boots quickly because I was late ordering them and I wanted to enter them in the Stitchdown Patina Thunderdome and only had a couple of weeks. They made sure I received them in time. I Love these boots. The natural Chromexcel leather is gorgeous and gets better with every wear. Super solid construction, I am still breaking them in but they are feeling great and they look great with just about anything. You can tell Blkbrd really cares about the details — definitely recommend. I will be buying more boots from BLKBRD.
