The Lewinsky can be imagined perfect on the feet of a Russian mafia boss, donning a long parka over an expensive pair of denim. Lewinsky boot is a full brogue derby boot with 7 eyelet lace-up style. Storm welt construction imparts a certain level of water resistance, whereas the fine nap of fibers on the suede leather provide water repellent characteristics to the shoe.

Long was I wanting a brown boot with broguing as an old one was unrepairable. My piano teacher showed me a few pairs of BLKBRD and showed the quality. Quality you don't find anymore. This boot matched my wishes perfectly. It was my first order, together with a custom made. Without being fitted, I was a little anxious to receive it. Pradeep helped me perfectly get the right measurements and fitting. So I dared to order this as my extra pair.
The Lewinsky boot;
These are fantastic! I couldn't be happier with them. As a model without customization (other than the size), this is one of the more affordable options. But make no mistake! These boots surpassed my experience and are of better quality than most "Italian made"-mass produced 'high-end' shoes you find in the Netherlands or any other brands in most countries (unless you go bespoke or at a local shoemaker). As there is close to none shoemaker like BLKBRD anywhere near here, I've become a big fan. For a very fair price, you're getting an excellent shoe. I can't say enough nice things about it.
As for the custom shoe (which I cannot place under the right shoe, so I'll put it here). I full customized boot to be worn under a suit (as I need extra support). The chelsey boot with a custom toecap, black, is just as amazing. Beautiful soles, quality and fit. While I had to get used to a slightly less tight fitting, they are still perfect. If I want to get it more tight, I can put an extra pad on the front part area of the chelsey.
Also, the boxes arrived, I love the simple writing of the order on the box. It feels like these are for me (which they were, of course!).
As someone with flat feet and hypermobile ankles, finding a shoe that supports insoles, look great, good quality and fits well, is challenging. I would be shopping for more shoes here. Pradeep and team, thank you so much for these perfect shoes
