Shoe build quality is magnificent. Reason it’s not a five stars; even though I sent them photos of my feet shape, the shoe doesn’t accommodate my flat foot pronation well. The shoe warps slight and forms an annoying gap at the mouth when I’m standing straight.
As someone who was looking at getting into a more serious dress shoe, these are an exceptional product for the price. At just over $200 CAD, these offer great value and you will not find an in-store/department brand that matches this quality, being hand-welted with genuine full grain leather construction, heel counter, etc.
Being handmade and shipped from Indian there were minor defects such as the fudging being slightly blemished or it shipping with some creasing already in the leather - pictures show the shoes after two wears. However, at this price, these minor imperfections should be overlooked.
The presentation, service, and details make BLKBRD products truly feel special. at this price. I would highly recommend trying these shoes as a way to see what a genuinely good dress is before potentially exploring more premium independent shoe markers.

I purchased these for my engagement photos and for my wedding coming up here in the next 7 months and the quality had blown away. They are so carefully crafted. I will be buying more from blackbird for work.
