I love the design of the Romero and I bought one pair as a gift before.
I wanted a pair for me, but I'm not a fan of handmade patina, I asked to have a custom pair with a premium leather. This colour is not in their leather upsell place, but I noticed they have more stuff by checking their Instagram page. I advise you to do the same to find some cool gems
I currently own a few of blkbrd offerings and the price to value was good for the first pairs. But for my last purchase I can't say the same. Petina was nowhere close to the one on the website, and quite a few other issues which should have been picked up during QC on both pairs I purchased.
Be mindful that you might have to streach, since a few of their last run tight on the toe box.
Don't get me wrong, these are not $300 pair of shoes but you should be getting adequate quality for you money unfortunately I did not get that this time.

This was only my second sartorially inspired footwear purchase. Blkbrd has a good reputation for a reason. The purchase was simple and straightforward, they contacted me for measurements and fit. A week later my shoes were delivered to my door. Highly recommended!
The construction is fine but the shoe is very narrow. If you have a wide foot consider going up at least half a size.
