I really like the boots I received, and I'm quite happy with my experience buying through Blkbrd. Pradeep was a big help answering my questions and confirming the modifications I wanted for my Rudiger (I wanted the Royce-B last but keep the Vibram Elton out soles.)
The overall wear experience has been a joy so far. The boots didn't really need to be broken in all that much due to the built-in cushioned insoles. Toe room is also quite nice with the more rounded Royce-B last offering more wiggle room.
The exterior as a complete package is a marvel to look at. The Navy Maryam leather is absolutely beautiful to look at, and the finishing of the boot looks quite refined. It's quite impressive these cost only a little over $300, which is an insane value for this level of craftsmanship and selection of name brand leathers to choose from. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone though these boots cost $100 to $200 more than they actually do.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and look forward to how they will patina over time.
